Dripping Springs Campground is situated at an elevation of 6,000 feet in rolling high desert terrain near Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The campground is part of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area in the Ashley National Forest. Campers frequent Dripping Springs for its close proximity to the Green River and Little Hole, both of which offer excellent rafting and world-class fishing opportunities. |

From Vernal, Utah, take U.S. 191 north for 47 miles. Turn off U.S. 191 just north of Dutch John onto Forest Road 075. Travel east about 3 miles to the campground. From Manila, Utah, take Highway 44 for 28 miles. Turn left on U.S. 191 and go north for about 11 miles. Turn off U.S. 191 just north of Dutch John onto Forest Road 075 and go east about 3 miles to the campground. From Rock Springs, Wyoming, take I-80 west toward Green River about 6 miles to the junction with U.S. 191/Flaming Gorge Road. Take U.S. 191 south for about 62 miles to Dutch John. Turn off U.S. 191 just north of Dutch John onto Forest Road 075 and go east about 3 miles to the campground. |

Dripping Springs is open year-round, and campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of the reservation season. The campground offers several single-family sites with shelters, tables and campfire rings. Four group sites are available as well, with large shelters, tables, campfire rings and grills. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. |

Those desiring to use facilities in Flaming Gorge outside the campground will need to purchase a Recreational Use Pass from camp hosts, local businesses, or the Forest Service. A daily pass is $5, a seven day pass is $15, and an annual pass is $35. All passes are per vehicle. The single site fee covers the cost of 1 vehicle. Each single site's maximum capacity is 2 vehicles. There will be an extra vehicle fee for the second vehicle collected on site. 2 vehicles = 1 sleeping unit (trailer, pop-up, pickup camper, RV, etc) + 1 passenger vehicle or 2 passenger vehicles. There is not room for 2 sleeping units. This campground has first-come, first-served sites This campground does not offer a dump station, however, a dump station can be found 8.1 miles away at Deer Run Campground Click here for more info about the Ashley National Forest Drinking water is only available mid-late May through mid-September. No hookups available. Dump stations are located at Antelope Flat, Der Run, Firefighters, and Lodgepole. A fee is charged. Showers are located at Deer Run and Mustang Ridge for campers with proof of camping registration. This facility is operated by American Land and Leisure. We appreciate hearing from you. Dripping Springs is surrounded by places to boat, raft, fish, hike and mountain bike. Little Hole Boat Launch and Day-Use Area on the Green River is nearby, offering great rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout fishing. The 7-mile Little Hole National Recreation Trail begins near the campground, meandering along the Green River from Flaming Gorge Dam. The trail can be done in shorter segments or as a whole. Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is known not only for its beautiful red cliffs but also for its world-class fishing, boating, hiking, camping, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and scuba diving.
